-There was a time when you could decide what the weather was like and how you felt without looking at your phone.
-Stand an inch from a tree and all you’ll see is the bark on the tree and everything associated with that small part of the tree. The imperfections of the bark, etc. You can’t even begin to see everything that tree is. Not it’s age, size, beauty, branches etc. Stand 10 feet away from that tree and you’ll begin to see everything that embodies that tree. Stand 30 feet away while sitting up in another tree and you’ll see a completely different view. Stand on a mountain top and look down at that tree and you’ll see it as a small portion of a vast landscape that represents so much more, or maybe you’ll see it as just another tree in a dense forest, or a small green blob. That is up to the eye of the beholder. People aren’t any different. Take a step back and think about everyone in a different light and remember, everyone has a purpose. Even the weeds have a purpose, even if it’s to remind us of the beauty of the trees. Trees aren’t meant to be viewed by a square inch of their bark, they’re meant to be understood as a whole, as people are.
